To the mean Homestuck fans bullshitting me about legal stuff: I've had these up for three days and I'm already sick of reading comments about how I'm not supposed to be selling these. Why should I justify myself to you? I'm selling zodiac bottle jewelry and nobody can tell me otherwise. So unless you have evidence of zodiac signs, glass bottles or certain fucking colors being copyrighted...go be internet police somewhere else. I'm not answering those comments anymore. Seriously. Go outside for once or something. I mean I'm usually nice, but this is just ridiculous. /// 2014.02.18 update: WhatPumpkin now knows about these and they are totally chill with me selling them so frick you.
Huh. Maybe it's because I don't have much interest in Homestuck, but I've never seen Pisces displayed as pink before. Probably because it's traditionally a symbol for water elements (being fish and all). Very cute charms, though.
Your so talented . Also I didn't know you were the one that made this because originally I went on the website to buy it but I thought it would be fun to make it instead and while looking through deviantart I found your other deviant creation. .3. I am so happy right now I never thought I would find you on deviantart
Well I print the signs on good quality paper and cut them out. I have bought the metal frames and glass domes on eBay. They're a bit pricy, but worth it in the end. I use 5 minute epoxy resin to stick everything together and done!
Oh and glycerin is this sort of clear oil, mostly used for medical stuff, like when you have dry skin. It holds the colors well, because, for example, I tried water once and the color went away in a few weeks.
i will, my mom has these little jars, about the size of the ones you use, with these little plastic corks with a loop in the top, they're full of glitter right now, but my mom said she'd get me my own and put the glitter that's in them into hers, so i can use them, some of them are lopsided though, but i just think it makes them look cute. and there are plenty of options, i mix them all the time, and my mom buys a mix of normal and pastel and neon, so i have good options.
Ahhh I know those, I have some filled with glitter too! They're originally used for nail art! c:Well you're lucky - all the colors I can find here are the 4 mains (red blue green yellow). If I did some more exploring I could find more, but I'm a bit afraid to do it alone in a new country.
They're glass, but they're strong. I had one as a keychain for 3 years before I hit it really hard and finally broke it, so no worries there! And no, they don't spill - the cork is sealed with epoxy resin - a clear adhesive that goes around the cork. I'm on vacation now though, I will be back on January 1st, so you might have to wait a little
That's okay, I can understand you're on vacation for the Holidays. My birthday is February 25th, so there's still time. Can I ask what the liquid is made out of? Just simple water and food coloring? I'm very fascinated by you're work here. So lovely!
